Burpee challenge not challenging enough for you? Here’s something for all of you fitness crazies out there—Murph. I have heard of this crossfit workout before but never dared to try it myself. It’s named after Navy Lt. Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan while leading a SEAL mission to capture a Taliban leader. He was awarded a (posthumous) Medal of Honor for his heroic actions and his favorite crossfit exercise was named after him. Pay homage to our armed forces and those in military service by trying this:
- 1 mile run
- 100 pull-ups
- 200 push-ups
- 300 squats
- 1 mile run
Break it up however you want but remember, it’s meant to be brutal.
